Sexual aversion disorder is defined as a persistent or recurrent avoidance of genital sexual contact with a sexual partner, accompanied by an intense feeling of disgust toward such contact. This condition can be observed in both women and men in a similar manner. When exposed to aversive stimuli or situations, individuals may experience feelings of disgust, fear, and anxiety.
