What is Speech and Language Therapy?

The field of language and speech is a broad, scientific and multidisciplinary area of study that influences human communication from birth through to old age. This field addresses developmental or acquired difficulties relating to language, speech, voice, resonance, swallowing and cognitive communication.

The counselling process is tailored to the individual’s age, developmental level and needs.

The aim is to enable the individual to make the best use of their communication skills, express their emotions, and build stronger bonds in their social relationships.
