What Is Adult Counseling?

Adult counselling is a professional process conducted on a one-to-one basis between the client and the counsellor, focusing on psychological assessment, gaining self-awareness and recovery.

The aim of this process is to enhance the individual’s psychological well-being, enable them to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and improve their quality of life.

Adult counselling is a powerful method not only for overcoming difficulties, but also for developing emotional awareness, strengthening communication skills and re-establishing inner balance.

At ÇADEM Psychology, counselling is planned entirely on a personalised basis.

Counselling approaches with proven scientific efficacy, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Logotherapy, are structured to suit the client’s needs.

In What Situations

Should One Seek Adult Counseling?

Adult counselling is an effective way of coping with the emotional, mental and behavioural difficulties that can arise at any stage of life.

In some cases, a person may not be able to clearly identify what is wrong; they may simply seek help because they ‘don’t feel well’.

It is at this point that adult counselling provides vital support in making sense of the inner process and restoring balance.
