SEXUAL AROUSAL DISORDERS

SEXUAL AROUSAL DISORDERS

FEMALE SEXUAL AROUSAL DISORDER

The inability of women to achieve an adequate swelling and lubrication response during sexual arousal, and the persistence of this insufficiency until the end of sexual intercourse, is called arousal disorder. In such cases, engorgement in pelvic blood vessels, expansion and lubrication in the vagina, and swelling in the external genitalia do not occur. This indicates that the arousal response has failed to form.

ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION IN MEN

Erectile dysfunction, also referred to as ED, is defined as the inability to achieve or maintain a penis erection/penile erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual performance. In the etiology of ED, numerous risk factors play a role, such as decreased testosterone levels, hypertension leading to endothelial dysfunction, diabetes mellitus, coronary artery disease, advancing age, and depression.
