MIRROR, MIRROR, TELL ME

What are the aims of the working group?

• It helps individuals understand themselves by increasing their self-awareness.
• It helps individuals become aware of their approach to their child by connecting with their own childhood.
• Through group work, participants explore various parenting styles in a practical way.
• It supports the individual’s communication with their child in a positive way.
• It helps them recognise common misconceptions about children.
• It aims to help parents arrive at the most constructive response to a given situation.

What is the aim of this support group?

• To help you realise that you are not alone,
• That your problems can be resolved more easily when you develop the ability to empathise with others,
• To help you become aware of your feelings about your own childhood and how these are reflected in your life today
• To interpret your expectations of your child,
• To develop parenting skills,
• To improve the quality of the relationship you have with your child,
• To experience your child through your own experiences,
• To help you support your child more effectively.

The support group, which will run for a total of 4 sessions, is based on family therapy and aims to help participants learn to understand their children by starting with themselves.

The workshop sessions will take place at the ÇADEM Psychology Halkalı Branch. The first session will be on Monday 26 November 2018 at 7.00 pm, followed by sessions every Monday at 7.00 pm for the next four weeks. Each session will be practical and will last 1.5 hours.

The fee is 150 TL per session.

Requests for participation, cancellation, or refunds of the training fee will not be accepted after the registration date specified in the training content.

In the event of a training cancellation due to a reason attributable to ÇADEM PSİKOLOJİ, participants’ fees will be refunded within 15 days of the cancellation date.
