Clinical Psychologist Deniz Merkit graduated from Middle East Technical University with a high honor degree. She completed her internship in Bakırköy Mental and Neurological Hospital.
She continued her education at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest with a clinical and health psychology graduate program. During her education, she did her clinical internship at Szent János's Hospital Psychiatry Service. Also in Budapest, she worked at the non-governmental organization called Drog Stop within the scope of health psychology internship.
She presented the research part of his graduation thesis with the title "Experiential avoidance, gastrointestinal symptoms and the relationship between anxiety-experiential avoidance and mental and physical health indicators". The applied part of her thesis was with the title "Comparison between diagnostic tools in clinical psychology: Rorschach and MMPI".
She returned to Turkey after completing his graduate program. She currently conducts therapy sessions with foreign people in Turkey and Turkish people living abroad.
